Wild Thing, when asked in the car how to spell "November" (we have to keep him busy somehow, after all) managed to come up with

N - O - V - E - B - R

I assumed this meant that Overworked Spouse had been coaching him on this one, but she says not. This means that if trends continue, WT will be a better speller than I am before he hits kindergarten.
